ZipID SMS Terms

1. Program description

   ZipID Form I-9 Onboarding Notifications are transactional text messages sent on behalf of your employer to help you complete your Form I-9. Messages include a secure link to start or continue your Form I-9, deadline reminders, and status confirmations. ZipID does not send marketing messages through this program.

2. How you are enrolled

   Your employer provides your mobile number to ZipID when it begins your Form I-9 onboarding. Your employer has represented to ZipID that it is authorized to share your number for this purpose. ZipID first sends one text asking you to reply YES, and sends Form I-9 links and reminders only after you do. This program is available only for U.S. mobile numbers.

3. Message frequency

   Message frequency varies based on your onboarding progress, typically no more than 4 messages per Form I-9, sent only between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. your local time. Messages stop once your Form I-9 is complete.

4. Cost

   Message and data rates may apply. ZipID does not charge for these messages. Check with your mobile carrier for details about your plan.

5. Opt out

   Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. You will receive one confirmation text and no further texts unless you opt back in by replying START.

   Opting out of texts does not opt you out of Form I-9, which federal law requires. We will email you your Form I-9 link so you can finish there.

6. Help

   For help with your Form I-9, use the chat at zipidapp.com. If you reply HELP, we will text you where to find it.

7. Carriers

   Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

8. Privacy

   See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your information. We do not share mobile opt-in data with third parties for marketing purposes.

9. Security

   ZipID will never ask you to text your Social Security number, identity documents, or passwords. Complete your Form I-9 only through the secure ZipID link.
